Parking for Saturday exams is located at the front of the school, on the eastern most parking lot (closest to canal). Entrance will be shown with a posted sign.
Effective Monday, February 14, 2022, the use of facial coverings by adults will no longer be mandatory in District facilities. While not required, mask usage will continue to be encouraged for all students, employees, volunteers, contractors, and visitors. M-DCPS will continue to follow science, consult with our medical experts, and review our protocols on a weekly basis to identify opportunities for further adjustments of COVID-19 protocols.

PSAT/NMSQT
All 10th grade students take this exam. 11th grade students that choose to take this exam are considered for the National Merit Scholarship.

Information about this exam will be sent through your school email.
- October 13th, 2021
- Students that have not taken the SAT may use their PSAT/NMSQT score to create a personalized SAT study plan through Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy.
- After taking the PSAT/NMSQT, your child’s score report will show which college-level AP courses match his/her strengths.
- 11th Grade students who meet requirements are eligible to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program and compete for national recognition and college scholarships.
- Some 12th grade students will be able to use passing scores as their graduation requirements for Language Arts and Mathematics.
- How to register to take the PSAT/NMSQT:
- 9th grade students can register to take the exam by paying $18.00 via the Online School Payment (OSP) App on the student portal.
- 10th grade students do not have to pay for the exam and do not have to register. All 10th grade students are expected to take the test on October 13th, 2021.
- 11th grade students can register to take the exam by paying $18.00 via the Online School Payment (OSP) App on the student portal.
- 11th grade students with Free/Reduced lunch test free of charge. To register for the exam, please complete and submit the linked form by the posted deadline, https://form.jotform.com/212424606159049.
- 12th grade students who need an Algebra 1 concordant score for graduation test free of charge. To register for the exam, please complete and submit the following linked form by the posted deadline, https://form.jotform.com/212424144924046.
Deadline to register for the PSAT/NMSQT is September 13th, 2021.
